The trend of “minimalism” in materials and thicknesses is the real challenge these times. As always, Comandulli managed to hit the target thanks to their continuous research.
With this goal in mind, our research and development office is therefore proud to present this new model with cutting edge equipment.
Thanks to the double conveyour belt the machine is able to process even ceramics from 4mm of thickness and narrow strips from 40mm of width, thus resolving two major limits of the horizontal edge polishers.
The new VERTICALE unites the technology that distinguishes Comandulli in the field of edge polishers with a compact and performant machine.
The exclusive features of a Comandulli machine Verticale
- Polishing of straight edges and bevels. Optional a multifunctional unit for calibrating of the slab thickness and cutting.
- Steel structure, electrowelded, fully worked by milling machines.
- All our machines are protected against corrosion through a modern treatment that follows different phases: sandblasting, metallization and painting.
- The painted covers are subject to cataphoresis treatment, other covers in stainless steel.
- Double conveyor belt. The second conveyor belt with manual adjustment based on slab thickness and with pressure elements for optimal fixing of the work piece.
- Conveyor belt speed adjustable on the control panel.
- Individual pressure setting for each spindle
- Increased efficiency: reduced consumption of water, air and electricity.
- Touch screen 10”: touch screen control panel for simple and intuitive programming of all machine parameters, which can be saved in until 999 machine programs. Complete diagnostic visualised on the screen through images of all the machine devices which allows to immediately locate the problem.

- 7 polishing spindles for straight edges The spindles are assembled on a beam with the possibility of floating during the working. Power 1,1 kW each at 900 r.p.m., abrasives Ø130mm with snail-lock connection. Individual setting of pressure for optimal polishing.
- 1 rear bevelling spindle at 45° Power 1,1 kW at 900 r.p.m., abrasives Ø130mm with snail-lock connection.
- 1 frontal bevelling spindle at 45° Power 1,1 kW at 900 r.p.m., abrasives Ø130mm with snail-lock connection.
- 2 roller conveyors of 1,5mt. each.

- 3 rear bevelling spindles at 45°, first one with manual system for precise bevels, even in case of thickness irregularities. The bevel width is adjustable from the side of the machine. Power first bevelling spindle 2,2 kW each at 2.800 r.p.m., diamond tools Ø130mm with M30 connection. Power second and third bevelling spindle 1,1 kW each at 900 r.p.m., abrasives Ø130mm with snail-lock connection.
- 1 frontal bevelling spindle at 45°. Power 1,1 kW at 900 r.p.m., abrasives Ø130mm with snail-lock connection.
- 2 roller conveyors of 1,5mt. each
